Riding lessons are taught by our Massachusetts Licensed Instructor named Ro Nelson. Ro has over 50 years of riding experience. She rode with former U.S. Olympian, Denny Emerson, for 7 years and Jane Savoie, for 3 years. She has also ridden with Olympic rider, Eric Smiley and currently rides with Niall Quirk, who has coached many riders through the Advanced level in eventing and Grand Prix riders in dressage. Ro is a former Pony Club Member and was a "whip" (part of the staff) for the Old North Bridge Hounds in Concord Mass. for several years. Ro has competed through the intermediate level in the Eventing discipline of riding. She has trained lots of young horses, off the track, as well as many others. She currently owns 3 OTTB that are in training. She has years of experience teaching many people, of all ages and abilities, how to ride horses.
